TABB Crisis & Continuity Services uses a four-step methodology that allow for the development of highly individualized programs meeting the unique needs of each client. They include:

Documentation:  We believe that developing appropriate operational documentation is essential to establishing a first-class infrastructure.  Without proper documentation to delineate what is appropriate and what is not, organizations cannot effectively meet the challenges they may very well face without warning.  By developing tailored and effective policies and procedures, we are able to assist our clients in identifying appropriate priorities, and develop proper methodologies for implementation.  More importantly, by assisting you in developing their policies and procedures, organizations are able to create their own individualized standard, which in turn can be designed to meet your own individual organizational requirements.

Training & Exercising:  Once appropriate policies, procedures and operational plans are developed, it is imperative that an organization trains its staff to those very documents. Training your team on your policies, procedures and plans is imperative if you wish to create an organization capable of meeting its objectives.  After all, you cannot expect an organization to meet its expectations if it does not understand what those expectations are.  By developing a tailor-made training program for your organization, we are more able to ensure that everyone within your organization truly understands what is expected of them, and learns the proper methodology for implementation.

Implementation: Once an organization understands its role and individuals within that organization understand their responsibilities, it is time to implement the programs that have been developed.  Implementing a program prior to training on it presents all sorts of challenges, and as such, we work with our clients to develop the focus and planning necessary to ensure they are getting the most out of their program and their people.

Compliance:  After implementation, it is important for your organization to assess its efforts in an attempt to gain an understanding of what it has accomplished, and, more specifically, what may need to be adjusted to ensure that the original intention is achieved.  Often, developing new programs means developing new standards.  By creating customized and integrated compliance efforts, your organization can make a clear determination on the effectiveness of a given program, as well as what elements need to be added, removed or changed, and how best to achieve your goals.  It may seem simplistic, but you cannot get where you are going if you do not know where you are.
